Cinnamon Apple Smoothie

This classy fall treat is the perfect way to start or end the day. I like to curl up at the end of the day and sip on this while reading. Fall foods are my absolute favorite to make.

Oats are a great filler for smoothies. If you don’t have a high powered blender, it’s best to soak your oats for 10-20 minutes so they’re not grainy in the smoothie. I like to make this in my Nutribullet so I soak them.

Cinnamon Apple Smoothie

Equipment

  • Blender or NutriBullet

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Large Apple with skin
  • 1/4 Cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 Medjool Date
  • 1 Tbsp Peanut Butter
  • ½ Cup Oat Milk
  • ¼ Tsp Cinnamon
  • ¼ Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 4 Ice Cubes

Instructions
 

  • Core and chop the apple with the peel on.
  • Pulse oats first to avoid a grainy texture. If you don't have a high powered blender, soak them in water for 5-10 minutes.
  • Add all other ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.
  • Enjoy!
