This classy fall treat is the perfect way to start or end the day. I like to curl up at the end of the day and sip on this while reading. Fall foods are my absolute favorite to make.
Oats are a great filler for smoothies. If you don’t have a high powered blender, it’s best to soak your oats for 10-20 minutes so they’re not grainy in the smoothie. I like to make this in my Nutribullet so I soak them.
Cinnamon Apple Smoothie
- Blender or NutriBullet
- 1 Large Apple with skin
- 1/4 Cup Rolled Oats
- 1 Medjool Date
- 1 Tbsp Peanut Butter
- ½ Cup Oat Milk
- ¼ Tsp Cinnamon
- ¼ Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 4 Ice Cubes
- Core and chop the apple with the peel on.
- Pulse oats first to avoid a grainy texture. If you don't have a high powered blender, soak them in water for 5-10 minutes.
- Add all other ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.
